Quarter 4 Week 10

Hello Second Grade Families,

We have made it to the last week of the school year!

End of Year Happenings!
We are fast approaching the end of the school year, please keep a few things in mind when planning for vacation.
  • The first is that GHNO, we continue instruction and learning until the very last day of school, May 22nd.
  • The second is that on Friday, we will have a cumulative math assessment as well as a final Spalding test. These test will not be given early. Please plan to have your scholar present for these assessments.
  • Your student will begin bringing home items they no longer need in the classroom, such as supply boxes, books, folders, notebooks, and workbooks. This will help avoid your students from having a huge, heavy bag on the last day of school.
Last Day of School:
  • Students will still need a snack and a lunch.
  • Students will take their last Spalding and Math test. (These can not be given early!)
  • Please note that any absences or leaving early other than those excused due to illness will result in a zero for any missed work of tests on the last day if school.
  • Students will bring home any remaining items from the classroom.

Library Books:
We will be collecting library books the week as there are no more visits for the year, please make sure they are turned in ASAP. Please reach out to the front desk, if you do not know what book you are missing.
